This program uses sine tones, filtered "pink noise", and music to demonstrate the auditory properties of sound frequency and spectrum.



Sine tones are simple sounds that comprise a single frequency void of harmonics and overtones.



Pink noise is randomized tones that are filtered to contain equal energy per octave across the audio bandwidth.
